What we can and cannot do

Email-and-password or Google sign-in is required to save a preflight. Each preflight, its checks, links, test transactions, acknowledgements and receipts belong to the account that created them, and database access rules block every other account from reading or changing them. We never ask for your wallet or exchange credentials — only for a CryptoPreflight sign-in.

Real calculations, no lookup service: EIP-55 capitalisation checksums for Ethereum-style addresses, bech32 and Base58Check for Bitcoin, Base58Check for XRP Ledger and Tron, and 32-byte decoding for Solana. A valid format never means an address is legitimate.

If an address belongs to a different chain family than the network you selected, the preflight reports Action required.

A direct comparison of the two answers you give. It is only as accurate as the deposit instructions you read.

The recipient opens a single-use link, types the asset, network, address and memo / tag from their own deposit screen, and our server compares the two entries. Your entries are never sent to their page or to its API response, before or after they answer. After they submit, they see only which fields matched. You see which fields matched and any note they wrote — not the raw values they typed, although those values are stored against your preflight. It does not verify anyone's identity.

For Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Bitcoin, Solana and XRP Ledger we read a transaction hash from free public nodes and explorers and compare chain, asset, destination and success against your preflight. Tron is not covered. Any provider failure, timeout or unclear answer is reported as Unable to assess — never as a pass.

A private record of the exact details reviewed, every check result with its source and timestamps, the unresolved items and your acknowledgements. It is a record of limited checks — not insurance, certification, or permission to send.

Rules based on the asset and destination type. CryptoPreflight cannot look up whether a specific account needs a tag and never generates one.

A small hand-curated table of platform deposit rules, each carrying the date it was recorded. Where a rule is missing, conflicting, or older than 90 days, the check reports Unable to assess rather than guessing. Recording a check today does not mean the platform's rules were re-read today.

Thresholds and prompts based on your own answers, not on live prices or on-chain history.

An animated recreation of the product screens with fictional transfer data and a narrated voice track. It is not a screen recording, and the transfer activity it shows never happened.

The four examples on the demo page run the real check engine against synthetic transfer details. The address and network findings are genuinely computed; the test-transfer facts shown there are synthetic and labelled as such. A saved preflight never uses simulated chain results.

An on-chain transaction is not proof that an exchange credited an account. We have no authorised exchange integration, so account credit is always reported as unavailable and must be confirmed by you or the recipient.

Requires a licensed risk-data provider such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs or Elliptic. No such provider is connected.

Proving control of an address requires a signed message from that wallet. Not implemented. A confirmation link proves only that whoever opened it typed matching details.

Requires a simulation service. Not implemented.

Nothing on this site uses a model to judge risk. Every result comes from explicit rules.

Data travels over HTTPS and is held by our managed database platform. We have not implemented encryption at rest beyond that platform's defaults, and no independent penetration test, audit or certification has been carried out.

Confirming that a named exchange currently supports an asset on a given network needs a maintained data source or per-exchange integrations. Until then the curated table above is used, with its recorded dates shown.

No payment processor is connected and no card details are collected anywhere on this site. Prices shown on the pricing page are indicative only.
